There are some things in your baby’s first year that you just never want to forget. The way they curl their toes and how they smile with their whole face. Or, how they look at you and you know that you are their whole world. Every small detail and every big moment. It all simply just goes by too fast.

Sweet Coco and her beautiful Mama came into the studio recently for her sitter milestone session. This is our third session together in her first-year collective membership. If you missed it, here is their maternity session at Weed Beach and newborn session. She was the sweetest little baby and not much has changed.

We started the session with some photos of just Coco. She’s sitting, crawling all over the place, and standing up holding onto things. Her hair has lightened, her thigh rolls are everything and she gave me allll the smiles!

Then it was time for some photos with Mama, which may be one of my favorite things about these sitter milestone sessions. I’ve said this before, but I think this is the perfect time for a “mommy and me” session. At this age they love interacting with Mom and honestly, it’s just a really exciting age and one worth making sure you are IN the photos for!
