I loved spending a little time with the Lewis family for the in-home family session to celebrate their sweet boy turning 1! They were absolutely precious and I loved meeting them.  There is something so uniquely special about photos taken in your home.  They are so authentic, warm, cozy and natural, not to mention unique!  The Lewis' home is so beautiful that it made a perfect backdrop for their portraits.  Their photos really tell a story about their family relationship and the things they love most.  The highlight of the session for me was when Dad grabbed his guitar and had a mini jam session with his little boy.  It was heart-melting and I'm so glad I could capture this special connection between them.

One thing I love about my job is getting to chat with my clients and learning more about them.  As it turns out, we used live half a block away from their parents in Nashville.  The world really is SO small these days!
